-Served from 1829-1837
-Economics: Paid off the National debt in 1835, through vetoing multiple economic bills. This was the only time in History that the federal government has been debt free.
-Politics: One of the biggest things Jackson did in his Presidency was pass the Indian Removal Act. This forced Southeast Native Americans to move out West into reservations. The act was not implemented until the Trail of Tears, and by that time Jackson had already left office.
-Social: Socially the public did not trust Jackson to much as president. He used the spoils system to pick his cabinet members. This was when Presidents would use their friends to staff the cabinet of their presidency. People nicknamed Jackson's cabinet the "Kitchen Cabinet".
-Foreign Affairs: Jackson was fairly successful in foreign affairs. He tried his best to stay out of conflict with other countries and he opened up new trading ports that helped bring foreign money into the US.

-Served from 1801-1809
-Economics: Had very little taxes because he believed in small and simple government. Embargo Act stopped foreign trade and the US lost money from trade
-Politics: Made the Louisiana Purchase to expand American Land. Went against what he believed in because he did not ask congress first, yet the purchase was good for the country
-Social: Controversy over him because some viewed him as a hypocrite, due to him wanting not to abuse federal power but then he signed the Louisiana Purchase
Foreign Affairs: Jefferson was responsible for the Embargo Act of 1807 to try and stop Impressment from British and French Naval ships, it failed and America eventually went back to War with the British
