There are so many examples of Assistive technologies in the classroom that are so helpful to students. Closed captioning is provided as a way for the students to be able to view the audio on the screen in word form if they have an auditory disability. Unique furniture in the classroom is provided to give students options for where to sit in the classroom. Rolling chairs, adjusted seating, and standing desks provide students with the opportunity to have flexible seating if they may have issues with mobility.

Differentiated instruction is integrated into the classroom in four different aspects. Content, process, products, and learning environment. Examples of differentiated instruction for content include a variety of reading materials for different levels, reading partners, and displaying text through both audio and video formats. Examples of differentiated instruction in the process include providing personal to-do lists for each individual student and also providing manipulatives to students to visualize the activities. Examples of differentiated instruction in products include giving rubrics that help guide the students through the assignments and letting students express their learning through different means of representation. Lastly, differentiated instruction is integrated into the learning environment through things like providing areas in the room that allow students to work independently in a quiet space and providing students with ways for them to receive guidance while the teacher is attending to other students' needs.

Differentiated Instruction is crucial in the classroom setting for many reasons. It allows educators to meet all individual needs of students, while also attending to every single student in the classroom. As an educator, it can sometimes be difficult to attend to every students needs, and differentiated instruction allows that through different ways to present the content in a creative way. Differentiated Instruction allows for teachers to customize the material in a way that both interests the students and gets them to fully understand the material being taught. The best part about it is being able to focus on each students strengths, while also giving all of the students the same exact objective of learning.
