Dear Sir,

I’m writing to inform you about the guarantee policy of a product he has bought online from my company recently. It is an electrical called Apple Iphone 7S Plus. It has a limited warranty of 1 year with a 30-day return period. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty doesn’t cover errors made by accidents, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, water, unauthorized repairs, and lost or stolen. Every customer can have it warranted by the original owner and original purchase receipt to Apple Care. If the warranty is lost or expires, the product can be repaired for a reasonable rate. Besides, the company can fix it but customers have to pay for the repair.

Subject:a negotiating style.

Dear Suga,

I’m writing to inform you about the negotiating style I am interested in. Soft is one of the popular negotiating styles. It is aimed at reaching an agreement which satisfies negotiating parties and helps them build long-term relationships. A soft negotiator is often in a weak bargaining position instead of placing pressure on the other party. For them, the other party is not an opponent. Therefore, they make gentle concessions and are willing to make sacrifices to avoid conflicts and preserve the relationship of both sides. This type of bargaining can result in quick agreement. However, soft bargaining also presents some disadvantages. The negotiator's interests and objectives might not be achieved, especially when the other party does not have a spirit of cooperation. For such reasons, a good negotiator needs to consider the situation to use this tactic.

Subject: Share experiences in my lastest job interview

Dear Hien,

I am writing this email to tell you about a recent position interview I attended. I worked part-time as an intern at an accounting company when I was in my third year of college. I had a great interview to get this position, and it gave me a lot of useful experience.

The chief accountant was the one who personally interviewed me. At first, I was worried because she looked really professional and serious. I was questioned about my background, education, experience, skills, and future ambitions. Despite my nervousness at first, I believe I made a good impression on the interviewer due to my formal and polite attitude as well as my short, simple, and relevant answers to my job.

Especially, on the job experience question, I think I did really well. Instead of answering that question, I talked about what I learnt and what I did as an unskilled student, but the skills I have and what I say are all  with relation to the position I'd like to apply for. However, until now, I still believe that if I can deal with salary issues more wisely, my interview will be much better.

If this happens again, I will try to negotiate rather than respond directly in order to achieve further reasonable terms. I learnt during the interview that in every situation, I need to remain confident and calm. To avoid speaking about other topics, I should directly respond to the question posed by the interviewer.
