This is one of the highest magnitude Tsunami/Earthquakes in recorded history, only 5 exceeding over 9. The debris that was sucked back into the ocean polluting the water and damaging coral reefs and fish. Waste and draining systems were broken affecting drinking water from the salts from the sea, water and waste found in the sea water, also high ammonia levels found in soil from waste pollution. Trees swept-away sending nesting grounds to ruins.
