After looking through the syllabus, as an English teacher, I think I’d like to learn more about the structure of the U.S. education system. This knowledge will also be useful if I decide to become a public translator in the future.

Knowing more about the American culture will help me better comprehend issues related to politics, for example, how historical events have led to their current situation.

I hope we can have healthy and meaningful discussions throughout this course and make comparisons with what we studied previously in VICI.

After looking through the syllabus, I think I´d like to learn more about the economic and political system of the USA and how their laws interfere with the translator's work.

Knowing more about the American culture will help me to comprehend the current consequences in the society and how people behave against this history and legacies.

I hope we can contribute with each other's thoughts and lead to a rich conclusion about the subject.

I think knowing more about the American culture will help me better understand how people think, act, and communicate in different contexts.
