Crop circles constitute one of the most controversial modern pseudosciences.

In researching crop circles for this assignment I learned quite a bit. I did not realize that the belief is that crop circles are messages that are being decoded by scientists. And I had not known that scientists believe the circles, or patterns in the crops are being made using electromagnetic technology by the orbs or highly intelligent beings from another world. Many of the crop fields are bent into woven pieces and twisted pieces of crops.

 

I do not live in the country side and have not found this topic relevant to me other than a personal interest and something of topic for a conversational piece. The news of crop circles does come up in the news every so often and I believe that having taken the time to gain extra knowledge on the subject would make for an impressive conversation on any given day. 

 

Proof of verbosity and the research regarding electromagnetic technology and how the orbs are bending the crops and twisting them with the waves is fascinating and confusing at times. The patterns created are being deciphered into actual messages by scientists is confusing again at how they arrive at the actual message and translating. The scientific method was compared to the manner in which scientists use electromagnetic sound waves to communicate with dolphins. This really put things into perspective for me of how possible this can actually be. Adding in the fact that the same scientist claims perhaps the circles are land markers for time travelers, really relates to the red flag, proof of verbosity. The science is confusing, still not proven and seems far-fetched.

  

This research has taught me that some crop circles can and are the work of pranksters, but the intricate patterns are not the work of pranksters and there are higher intelligent beings attempting to communicate with us here on earth, such as aliens. It really is unexplainable and leaves me wondering.
