5.Voyeurism generally used in music videos, especially in relation to females

For example in Muse's music video 'Uprising' their narrative focuses on the Government and the issues following them. They have multiple close up shots of the lead singer throughout the music video, which proves Goodwin's theory. In the music video, 'She Bangs the Drums' we see them performing live in front of their fans, with certain effects and transitions within the music video. This music video proves Goodwin's theory of focusing on the lead singer as there are multiple close ups of the lead singer. This music video also proves Goodwin's theory of having a relationship between the lyrics and visuals with the visuals illustrating, amplifying, and or contradicting the music. Moreover, seeing as this video focuses on lyrics and the visuals, which amplify the music due to the limited narrative.
