After the ceremony was over, the mourners began to disperse. I lingered, unable to move from my spot.

The spirit began to speak, accusing me of my role in Diana's death. I felt a cold sweat break over my forehead; I was overwhelmed with guilt and tears began to stream down my face. After a few moments of silence, the spirit softened and told her that it was Diana who had wanted her to come to the funeral. She had wanted her best friend to know that she would sit through a long-lasting life of guilt of Diana Roy's death.

With the spirit's words, I began to feel my own guilt and sorrow wrap around me... so quickly it was like I was trapped inside a tornado. I was trembling as the spirit began to creep closer and closer. I began to plead my final goodbye but never my last apologies to Diana. As I left the cemetery, I felt a new sense of hope and understanding. I knew that Diana would always be with me... Aswell as the spirit. They were attached to me permanently for the rest of my journey. Sinking deep into my head like the roots of my hair...
