I watched the first season, seventeenth episode. 
"This is us" is the history of triplets and their parents. 
In this episode, William is dead. He is the biological father of Randall. Randall was adopted when he was born by Jack and Rebecca. One of the Jack and Rebecca's children died during labour. So Jack and Rebecca decided to take care of this baby boy that was dropped at the fire station. A fire man decided to leave the baby at the hospital in the day that Kate and Kevin borned.
This episode is about the memorial of Randall's father. Randall found out his father a few months earlier and discovered that he was experiencing a fatal stage of cancer. William was living at Randall's house. 
In the flashback part, where the triplets are children, Rebecca is trying a singing career. Despite Jack doesn't like the idea, Rebecca convince him of the right of pursuing her dream.
Nowadays, Kevin has his opening night at the theatre. He is a TV actor and he is trying to do drama. Kate doesn't want to talk about the father's death and we don't know the reason. 
And Beth, who is Randall's wife, is frustrated by not having an important role at the memorial. Beth and her daughters liked William very much. 
Randall tells Beth to do the speech that honors William's memory. 
Randall decide to quit his job in order to follow William's advice.

I drove to Santana de Parnaíba in order to work as an intern at Sesi. I started my function at 10 o´clock. I watched some students´ presentations of Ziraldo´s books. I am responsible for being with the students of the forth grade at elementary school. Then I followed the students in their activities like classes and lunch. I cut some paper for the children´s play. I painted letters that form the name Ziraldo.  I had rice and beans and two steaks for lunch. I attended a lecture about literature. And I helped the school principal to store stuff. She was aprehensive because some important manager from Sesi was visiting the school to verify its conditions.  Then, I came back to my house to feed my cats and have a snack.
