I Recycled waste plastic bottles and wrappers at college and at home, I use the blue and brown bin at home and these bins at college. This is to stop waste going to landfill and to help recycled materials be made rather than new materials that use more energy to make.

This is my second stud door, I cut the wood for this one my self using the saw and a corner, I used a spirit level and hammer to try get the measurements more accurate than my first attempt.

My first assessment piece was a door frame, I used a saw,

I lead a group discussion in front of my class today about my options on equality and diversity. This was in tutorial and I shared which of the 9 protected characteristics I felt were most at risk and why. I answered 3 questions from my peers.

I use teams to communicate with my tutors at college, this is screen shot of me sending some photos of my joinery work, teams is quick and easy to use similar to Facebook messenger. I always use it to let my tutors know if I am running late or not coming in and to ask questions about college.

Since starting college I have learnt to use emails, I sent this to my tutor to ask about a lesson. Emails are a more formal way of communication and good to know as this is the best way to contact employers in the future.

I've used teamwork on three occasions whilst in collage one time when I worked in a team of 2 to build a stood wall with a door lining this took us a while and also cleaning up the cleaning the workshop with the other students

Another time I used teamwork was to clean up the downstairs workshop where we worked in a team of three to remove all the tools from the cupboard and store them in another place

Another time i used teamwork is when we built more work bays downstairs so there was more areas for students to work whilst the bays upstairs were in use by another class and we were unable to continue our work
