•	Learners learn in different ways
•	We need to cater for all learners in class room
•	Using technology at different levels – scaffolding learning
•	Using multimodal learning to adapt learning to cater for all students
Active Knowledge making
•	Making connections between information to create new meanings
•	Building upon existing knowledge
•	Becoming the investigator, designer, and creator at the same time while learning information
Multimodal meaning
•	Text, media, sound, images, data resources
•	Add interest and can engage learners
•	Reinforces learning when it is presented in multiple ways
•	http://www.msn.com/en-au/news/watch/tech-kids/vp-BBp6QiH
•	Neuroscience research has revealed that ‘significatnt increases in learning can be accomplished through the informed use of visual and verbal multimodal learning’ Fadel, 2008, p 12) https://eprints.usq.edu.au/9100/2/Sankey_Birch_Gardiner_Ascilite_2010_PV.pdf
•	Students feel more comfortable and perform better when learning in environments that cater for their predominant learning style (Cronin, 2009, Omrod, 2008) https://eprints.usq.edu.au/9100/2/Sankey_Birch_Gardiner_Ascilite_2010_PV.pdf

It made me feel sad for the puppy at first because it was being neglected but he puppy was able to bring hope to the boy and eventually it made me feel happy that he seemed happier with his life.

How does it relate to you as an educator? As an educator we will come across various types of students who may be rich or poor have abilities and inabilities and other society groups. As educators we need to be able to bring hope and provide encouragement that even if you fail once or twice, if you keep trying and never give up we are all able to achieve our goals and ambitions.

What does it make you think in relation to ICT in the classroom? Some students may not be able to afford or have access to some forms of ICT that other students in the classroom have access to. I think if we are planning to use ICT in the classroom we need to be sure that all students have the same access to it to avoid some students not being included, or then being judged or bullied because of certain situations.

At the end of the kahoot it will display the top 5 in the class, students can get put off when they find that only a select few students are always in the top 5. Can help avoid this by changing topics regularly, changing groups.
