I learnt that there are a few different microphones for different tasks, for example a SM57 mic is used to take more presure and louder noises for vocals, and a kick mic is for louder sounds like a kick on the drums.

Also the SM58 mic is a common vocal mic used and many venues and live music and also podcasts.

And that finally a condenser mic is to pic up details like in vocals, also a pencil mic is used for drum overheads.

For cable managment you have to turn and coil them in a circle were none are bigger than the other, and that it stays at a reasonably small size, you are to act respectful and carefully around all equipment since its all very expensive and we do not want any of it breaking. and that you should be respectful of the working enviroments and were others are using equipment.

I personaly did find it safe to work in and there was nothing to crazy going on.

The producer Liam howlett is the one i have chosen due to the strange but unique sounds and tracks he was able to create for the prodigy band, the music was mainly techno, rave, rap rock and electronic rock. The Phoenix Festival was an English alternative to Glastonbury, and though it was ultimately short-lived, this performance from The Prodigy remains a timeless favorite. The Prodigy's singer, keith flint, died by suicide by hanging on March 4, 2019, with cocaine, alcohol, and codeine found in his system. His bandmate, Liam Howlett, publicly stated his death was a suicide, and a coroner confirmed the cause was hanging, though a final verdict on suicide or accident was not given at the initial inquest. Not many people know that one man is behind the entire musical opus of the band The Prodigy. Liam Howlett is the driving force, the mastermind, the unchanging constant, and the author of all the songs of the most influential electro-punk band of all time, which this musical genius initially conceived as a solo project.

Music industry: Requires skills, and understanding job roles and experience.

Music producer manages the sound recording and production of a band or artist, working to try and improve the songs. Taking out frequencies that are not great in the track, to control dynamic ranges you use the compressor= its best on vocals and drums, Threshold is what you pull down and up to compress.

7.effects can be used to put on reverb on vocals, synths, guitar and high hats it sounds good, no reverb on basses or kicks since it sounds shit/not great.

8.distorshion= using a small amount of distortion can be good as a affect on tracs.

:safety tips in studio:

1. Make sure all nobs are down before setting up drums, have microphone muted before plugging in or it could overloud and proper blow up/not great, no liquids near equipment since noting is water proof or resistant= if breaks then that's 50K out of your bank, keep everything tidy and clean and stuff put away after use and keep it so you can get through the room and all doors cleared, make sure to coil the cables correctly.

:Pro tool stuff:

1.In pro tools to create projects is to press shift control n, make sure buses are stereo because you might want multiple tracks so you can pan them going from left to right, IO means in and out were you do your busing, in is top, out is bottom, to change the input of a bus select the output of the bus and send it to the input, then you can rename the tracks.

I enjoyed the logic stuff lots since i found it intresting and fun to make beats and experement with diffrent sounds and then putting them together. considering that this is my first year hear and that iv never used logic or padlet before, id say it went well and i learnt quite a bit.
