Reflecting upon this year, it has been one of the hardest years outside of academic content. In late October I received a phone call saying the funds I thought I had procured for the first 2 years of the degree could not be given until the final 2 years. Therefore, there was a great stress on how to fund the course. I managed to work through the situation and gain funding for the first year, via family members and working between 35 and 45 hours per week. I also started my own business.
