What sorts of supernatural beings do you enjoy reading about and why?

I don't want to believe in any supernatural beings - unless you count aliens as supernatural beings because I'd like to believe in those because I think it would awesome finding life on other planets.

I like reading about all supernatural beings

- I would like to believe in aliens because that would be really cool and like Lola said I would like to see how different our two planets are also flying pigs and unicorns because that would be really cute.

- I am not to keen on reading about supernatural things

I would like to believe in the Greek gods because they are fascinating to learn about.

I enjoy reading about dragons, gods, and most ancient myths because it's interesting to read about what people believed in, hundreds or thousands of years ago!

Up to when I was about 9 or 10, I had never really read or seen any scary stories or movies. But about a year ago I went on a website of terrifying stories and read all of them. I SCARED MYSELF TO DEATH. I WISH I COULD ERASE THOSE BLOOD CURDLING SENTENCES OUT OF MY MIND!!! And now I can't go upstairs by myself, even when all of the lights are on. I also don't like the dark and I have to sleep with lots of lights on. I really hope Skellig doesn't get any scarier than it already is. Aaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to believe in dragons because I find them awesome and I would love to be able to see one.

I like reading about supernatural beings (especially ones that the authors create themselves) because I want to know what the authors make of them.

I would love to believe in such creatures like dragons, gargoyles and beasts because they have abnormal abilities. I only believe in things that I have seen or are factual.

Like others I am fascinated by the Greek Gods and there legends, they are such powerful and sometimes deceitful beings.

I would like to believe in all sorts of supernatural beings - but not the evil ones. This would make the world a much more interesting place if they existed. Imagine waking up to find an elf at the end of your bed at Christmas!

I enjoy reading about ghosts and other evil creatures, as they take you out of the real world and I like the feeling of suspense.

I would like to believe in ghosts and hauntings because it would be nice to know that the dead still cares about us and are still there. Also I wish everything from Harry Potter and The Hobbit/ Lord Of The Rings are real because that would be AMAZING!!!

I would like to believe in aliens because I find them interesting and strange.

I enjoy reading about Dragon and mythical creatures in non-fiction books because they make books fun and unique.   

However, I would like to think that creatures like elves and unicorns are real as I hate anything frightening- I can't watch ANY horror movies or I might find myself staying up in bed with the lights on all night. Unicorns, if they were real, I'm sure would be really fun and exciting supernatural beings- imagine waking up and finding a Unicorn in your bedroom? I really wish that everything in the Harry potter series was reality, even dark magic 'cause Draco's my favourite character!

I'm not that keen on reading about supernatural beings (apart from anything to do with Harry Potter!)

I would like to believe Unicorns because  they are really cool and fun to hear stories about.

I like reading about dragons (if they count as supernatural) because I love the idea of a huge, winged lizard breathing fire.

I would like to believe in green aliens from cartoons because I find them funny and amusing.

I don't enjoy reading about supernatural beings because it is usually ends up sad and depressing (just like skellig is at the moment).

I would like to believe in ghosts because they would be able to communicate with you.

I don't really enjoy reading about supernatural beings because I think it shows that the writer is not too skilled at creating a good story in the human world.

I enjoy reading about supernatural beings because they are interesting and nothing is similar to it.

i really want to believe in unicorns and ghosts because if they were real i think that they would make a huge difference in our lives.

I really enjoy reading about supernatural beings because it is a fun thing to read about and no one really knows if they are real and they bring the whole story alive. It helps you to think more about what you are reading. Also supernatural beings are also a good thing to read about because they excite young children in fairytales.

I would like to believe in Santa Clause but I don't think he's really supernatural.  I would like ghosts to be real because it would be nice to know what would happen when people die and may be able to communicate with the dead.

I would really like to believe in unicorns and elves and all of the magical beings, but not ghosts!

I hate all things horror, it creeps me out. I don't believe in ghosts, I never have, I never will. There's just something that creeps me out. I like to stick to book that are more fictional books and i would never go near a horror book!

I would like to believe in beings like dragons, Omar's and Giants (alive creatures)

I very much enjoy reading about the ones I believe in because it sounds more possible and realistic

Fear of creepy stuff is really just a way of our brains processing the real fears of life like growing up and exams and stuff.  Bear this in mind when you get creeped out.  It's a natural and healthy process that helps us deal with life.  It helps me, anyway.

And Skellig isn't scary at all!  Don't worry.

I used to but then rumors began and people started telling me things about them not being real, so I stopped believing in them. I still believe in them when I watch a movie because it makes the movie seem more real in a way.

I would like to believe in supernatural beings but i think that if they were actually real the world would be very different, people would have unicorns to travel on and magic would be part of everyday life.

I enjoy reading about supernatural beings because things happen that could never happen in real life, which makes a book more exciting .
