         <description><![CDATA[<div>M:&nbsp;Patients might get overly defensive when people aren't "entertaining" their delusions.<br>U: When in psychosis, Schizophrenic patients often do nothing that has a rational basis. Their delusions are one of the main causes.<br>D: One thing that is misconstrued in society is that Schizophrenics are violent and that's just not the case.<br>A: Since the disorder causes patients to see and hear things, most are seemingly talking to themselves and doing strange things in public.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Schizophrenia affects the way diagnosed people perceive reality.<br>- There are 5 subtypes of schizophrenia<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - Undifferentiated Schiz.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - Paranoid Schiz.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - Disorganized Schiz.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - Catatonic Schiz.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - Residual Schiz<br>- This mental illness can be developed by genetics, brain chemistry, brain abnormality, and environmental factors.<br>- 10% of schizophrenics have either a drug or alcohol problem or end up committing suicide.<br>- Most are not violent and actually prefer to be alone.<br>- Medication, therapy, and being hospitalized are all treatments that could reduce symptoms.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Being in a relationship with someone diagnosed</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I've never been in a intimate relationship with someone diagnosed with schizophrenia, but my grandmother was diagnosed when she was in her 30s.<br><br>Because of this, we have always had an on and off relationship because I would distance myself whenever she'd become sick.<br><br>I feel like being in an intimate relationship with someone with this illness would be stressful for the simple fact you never know when they will have another episode.</div>]]></description>
