Idea: The ego death is an idea about letting go of your identity. Everything that you are, you are part of, something you believe, between others: are your identity. Letting go of you identity/ego is hard path. In my drawing I’m trying to show the feeling of detachment from “you”. I made it with pink watercolor to express the good aspects of yourself also detaching, since the ego also tries to identify with emotional rewarding moments.

Materials: Acrylics on canvas.

Idea: I used acrylic paints on canvas in the tones of red, dark blue, black, and white. I only used my paint brushes so that I could accomplish the soft, delicate look of skin. I used only the colors red and blue to make the body because they are right across from each other on the color wheel, making them mix very nicely, and at the same time create the color purple that represents feminism.
