The FA's Report and Financial Statements (2019) describes the FA as “the not-for-profit, governing body of football in England which re-invests over £180m back into the game each year.” By doing this the FA is then able to grow participation rates, promote diversity and ensure rules are followed from grass roots to the elite level of the game. The FA also runs 28 England teams (men’s, women’s, disability and youth teams) and owns two world-class facilities (Wembley Stadium and St George’s Park).

Source: The Football Association Limited (2019). Report and Financial Statements The Football Association Limited year ended 31st July 2019. Retrieved from: http://cdnalt.thefa.com/TheFAPortal/images/financialreport/2019/Index.html
