Demonstrating how easy it is to use not only for both parents and teachers, but more importantly the students. We see Maya take a picture of her work with such ease, which later can be seen by both her teacher and parents. She even calls it an “ appropriate Facebook for kids” which I thought was pretty funny and cool, and I think it would be an application that students would really enjoy.

I liked this video because it helps families understand how to use it and how it will be beneficial for them. For example, they learn how they are able to take an active role in their child’s learning by knowing what exactly they’re doing as they’re doing it and they can give feedback.

Christi Gregory This video explains how seesaw can be used as accountability tool for students. Seesaw gives students an easy way to interact online in a way that teachers and parents can see what students are learning in the classroom. It acts as a digital portfolio with a running feed of everything the students have done. The video then gives examples of work posted by students to help viewers understand what can be seen on seesaw.

I like how the video that explains the app is only 1 min and 30 seconds. I think that says a lot about the simplicity of the app. It's also interesting that 5 year old students are able to navigate the app/website. I think it can prepare children early on to work with technology.

This video explains how to customize activities in Seesaw. I like how you can view and share other teachers’ activities from the Activity Library, and modify it in order to fit your classroom’s needs and objectives. Being able to edit previous activity templates is a useful tool for new teachers, and is good practice for eventually developing your own from scratch.

This video showed the ways in which Seesaw can be used to interact with families. I like that the app has this option because it makes it easy for families to keep up with and start a conversation about what their children are learning, as well as allowing parents to communicate directly with teachers outside the classroom. I also like that the app provides users with an organized space (filter by date, folders, etc.) for easy access to material.
