I feel as though this quote means that us as a human society, always fight and make things complicated, but we should just slow down and enjoy life as it is.

I especially like this quote. I feel as though it means that you just have to look at a situation and make it better and have a positive outlook on life.

This quote means that if you pick something enjoy doing, then your life won't be enjoyable. The definition of  Filial Piety is "the important virtue and primary duty of respect, obedience, and care for one's parents and elderly family members." Filial Piety is the family honor and lineage and is greatly important to Chinese families. Confucius said that Filial Piety was key to a good family, and can be obtained by children helping their parents and the elderly.
