Modern times is a silent movie, it is also in black and white. The main character is Charot, Charlot works in a factory almost like a robot but he went to a sanatory because of a nervous breakdown. When he gets out he is in prison as a communist leader, he gets out after helping the sheriff and meets a poor girl and they tried to have a home. The girl gets a job as a bar ballerina, also Charlot gets a job in the same bar as a singer and waiter, the girl write the letter of the song in his cuffs but when he enters to the bar the cuffs get out and he has to invent the letter of the song. Everything is perfect but the police went to the bar because her father dies and he was very small to live alone. Charlot helps the girl to escape and they get out. THE END
