I had growth in all math 8 classes and each class meet or exceeded their goal.

7th Grade English

After giving the pre-assessment we were able to share whole class the results. We restructured lessons to focus heavily on vocabulary that would transfer to other cold reads.

i used the data to create student groups consisting of strong, medium, and struggling students and had them work on a varitey of group activities. Stations in LMC, work as group to solve a problem and present to a the class on doc cam. writing the steps used to solve problems.

Math

1. Each class made growth.

2. Students reviewed their assessments

and completed test corrections. Students clipped to their individual color. Discussed their individual growth.

3. Questions that were a struggle will spiral on upcoming assessments.

We are using the data from our Pre and Post assessments to meet students at their performance levels and move them forward with challenging yet achievable goals/SMART Goals.

Math

Students improved from 50% proficient on the pre-test to 75% proficient on the post-test.
Results are communicated to students with the movement of the clip on their data wall.
I used this data to decipher how much longer I need to spend on one specific topic, and will continue to spiral questions throughout each assessment.

Our wins in 8th grade are the reflection and goal setting we do after the pre-test (individual and class goals), along with the differentiated approach we used to support students with evidence and inferences.

We have yet to complete our post-test on Standard RL6.1 (Reading Literature/Inferences).

Pre-test using Standards Mastery Form A on i-Ready. Students receive individual results that day.

Whole class results (proficiency percentage) discussed and shown on data walls (Along with individual results)

Students struggled with questions requiring multiple responses that were NOT multiple choice.
