- Rewards uncontrollable factors: "Luck"

- "Leveling the playing field."

- Future is unknown and unreal.

- Is open to the possibilities of the future!

- What distinguishes past & present?

- Problems with simultaneity

- We experience all of them (with differences, of course.)

- What makes the past "real"?

- Suggests determinism, no possibilities.

- Reality and its rational structure - Through Math & Logic!

- Knowledge built upon via the senses

- Not necessarily directly experienced but still understood based by knowledge by others

- ( A more broad term than Knowledge by Acquaintance)

Both Involves the Senses:

Description knowledge is told from another source.

Acquaintance knowledge is first hand experience.

- Decisions based & backed by God or the Gods

- Lacks input from the individual, disconnect from the self

- Practical Wisdom & Character Traits

- Developing morals & virtues overtime

- Relying on society to build our ethical code, gambling with the odds that we, as people, are ethically sound enough to learn from.

- "Philosophy as A Shredder." Picking every little detail apart.

- Utilizes both Math & Logic!
