My sisters and I were all encouraged to research and seek out what felt right to us in regard to religion and spirituality. In high school I found Buddhism and fell madly in love. (no kidding) The way of life in this small town is so unlike anywhere else in the world. I was raised wild and free and strong and wouldn't change my childhood for anything. So learning about my personal sexuality was not an easy task, especially considering the internet wasn't available to me until I was a teen. So learning to accept myself and be comfortable with my sexuality has really shaped my personality and my identity.
