The theme for monkey and the marmoset is plane ahead because the passage includes details that point to that  theme. The them in the raven and the fish hawk don't take others for granted because everything is directed to them.How I can tell that the theme for monkey and the marmoset is planned ahead is because in the passage monkey said in paragraph three he said “Silly marmoset we will never be out of fruit for it leaps off the tree glad to be your snack!” That  is really different compared to what he said at the end of the story, "I should have planned ahead.”I can tell that the theme for raven the trickster and fish hawk is don't take others for granted and how i know is the third paragraph it said fish hawk was too polite to refuse raven and let him into his home. At the very end the hawk left the raven and built a new cozy home for the raven to get his food.  How the themes are the same is they both are lessons that apply to everyone and they have a common meaning and they both have the nice characters that teach the other characters.

Contrast: one story was about planning for the future, and the other one was about don’t take people for granted.  

‘Spider Monkey and the Marmoset’ is planning ahead is good in bad situations.The theme for ‘Raven the Trickster and the Fish Hawk’ is don’t take people for granted.Secondly,I found my theme in the first passage when Marmoset stated that”You should have been planning for a day like this yourself.”.Thirdly, we found the theme for “Raven the Trickster and Fish Hawk”When the author stated that “Weeks passed by and Raven did nothing to help.He made his host gather food for both of them while he slept and ate up meals.”.Lastly,the themes are different because for the first passage it's about saving but in the second passage it's about not taking people for granted.They are also similar because both of the texts have a character that does not want to work for food.

First the theme/moral of the passage monkey and the marmoset would be planning ahead is good in certain situations. Second the theme/moral for the passage raven the trickster and fish hawk is never take people for granted.

Next in paragraph 10/11 it states that “marmoset was smart for planning ahead of time for winter”. Also it says that “spider monkey states maybe i should’ve planned ahead.

”Third in passage two  paragraph 1 it states that the raven acted very kindly towards the fish hawk hoping the bird would feed him because the raven did not gather food for winter and did not plan ahead. 

Lastly both themes are similar because spider monkey and trickster raven are similar because they both did not gather food for winter and tried to take marmoset and fish hawk for granted.

The theme in Spider monkey and Marmoset is always to plan for the future and never doubt that it won't come.The theme in Raven the trickster and the fish hawk is don't use people work for it yourself.

In this passage the spider monkey and marmoset in paragraph 2 and 3 it says that Marmoset always plans for the future but  spider monkey does not.

In Raven the trickster and the fish in paragraph 8 Fishhawk did not like Raven's laziness and flew away from Raven and his home to teach Raven a lesson.

This evidence proves that both of the passages are the same and different at the same time.

The theme for the spider monkey and the marmoset is”you should plan ahead for the future. The theme for the Raven the trickster and the fish hawk is don’t be greedy for what you don’t have and be grateful for what you do have

Theme #1   paragraph 11 states "“Maybe,” ‘he thought, I should plan ahead”. Them #2 paragraph 8 states “" He hoped to educate Raven by teaching him a lesson,  yet deep inside his heart, he knew the old trickster would never change”"

 The themes are similar because neither raven nor spider monkey do any work and marmoset  and fish hawk were doing all the work for them. They are different because fish hawk let Raven have some of his food but marmoset didn’t.

The difference is that one the guy gets the food for the other guy and in passage 1 he does not share with the other monkey . They all are similar though because they both have to get food. 

The themes in “The  Spider Monkey and the Marmoset” and “The Raven and the Fish Hawk” are different.

In the text “Monkey and the Marmoset” it states “ Maybe, He should have planned ahead and listened to his friend.

     In the Text “Raven and the Fish Hawk” He hoped to educate the raven by teaching him a lesson. So he left so Fish hawk left, and that made it to where the raven couldn’t control fish hawk.

Proof of this is the theme for “The Spider Monkey and Marmoset.” It is plan ahead, or you will regret it later—the theme for “Raven the Tricker and Fish Hawk” is Don’t take people for granted. 

I can prove this Idea because the author explains in paragraph 1, “the Spider monkey loves swinging through the trees, eating as much fruit as his belly can hold. In paragraph 11, Spider Monkey says, “I should have planned ahead.”

Also, in “Raven the Trickster and Fish Hawk,” the author explains in paragraph 5, “You can collect profits on these goods, why don’t I visit you during the winter months to help. Raven learn not to take people for granted in paragraph 15 because the author says, “Raven had to find his food from then on.

As you can see, the themes for both texts are similar because they are both caused by the relationship between two friends.    

 Passage 1’s theme is to be more careful about how much you use and plan for the future. Make sure you’re prepared, before you play.

Passage  2’s theme is if you lie, you will have to face consequences. The truth is key.

 I found the theme in the first passage when I read; “Silly, Marmoset!” Spider Monkey began, “We will never run out of fruits to eat! You are wasting your time! Come swing in the trees with me.” Marmoset ignored him and continued stocking up for the days when fruit will be difficult to find.” Then at the end of the passage, I read this; “It’s getting harder to find food.” Spider Monkey thought to himself. “Oh wait! Marmoset was stocking up! I’m sure he will be generous and share his stockings with me!” Spider Monkey swung over to where Marmoset was. “How may I help you, Spider Monkey?” Marmoset asked. “I am here to share your food supply! You were right to stock up on food and I’m sorry for teasing you. Will you be willing to share your stock with me?” Spider Monkey asks, “I’m sorry Spider Monkey, but this food is for me and my family. You should’ve planned ahead and stocked up for the rough winter times.” Marmoset tells Spider Monkey as Marmoset turns away from Spider Monkey. Spider Monkey thought about his words as he voyaged the forest for food. Maybe Marmoset was right, maybe he did need to plan better.

 I found the theme in the second passage when I read; “Ah Fish Hawk, my friend. How the weather’s chilly flow pierces through the air, the wind howling along the shore of the river. The warmth and delicious smells from your house is calling me inside. Let's head inside.” Fish Hawk was too polite to refuse so they went into Fish Hawk’s house. Raven saw a large supply of food in Fish Hawk’s home. “You know,” Started Raven, “You could sell some of this stuff! During the winter times, you could sell these items to birds and other animals that couldn’t stock up. We could be buddies! You feed me and let me live here for the winter, and I will help you voyage for food to sell.” Raven promised but he never fulfilled it. He sat around, eating meal after meal, promising he’d help and find more food, thanking Fish Hawk ceaselessly. Although Raven promised many times, nothing came out of Raven’s empty promise, only lies. Fish Hawk eventually grew tired of his greedy, lousy guest. Fish Hawk decided to leave his house. He found a new house where Raven would never find him. Now Raven would have to fend for himself. Although Fish Hawk was sad he had to flee his home, he knew it was the right thing to do. Fish Hawk started thinking and he realized that Raven wouldn't change no matter how hard he’d try. Sometimes, people don’t change. 

In theme 1, Spider Monkey thought that the food would be endless and he would just play and eat all day instead of following Marmoset’s footsteps and stocking up. In the end Spider  Monkey ended up getting hungry but he had no food to eat. Spider Monkey realized that he should’ve been prepared before he played. 

In theme 2, Raven got very greedy and lied that he would help Fish Hawk stock up, but nothing came out of Raven’s empty promise, only lies. In the end, Raven ended up having to find food for himself and he had no one to rely on for food, shelter, protection, etc.

The themes of “The Spider Monkey and the Marmoset” and “Raven the trickster and the Fish Hawk” are different and similar in many ways.The theme for “ The Spider Monkey and the Marmoset” is you should make sure that you are always prepared for what could happen in the future. The theme for “Raven the trickster and the Fish Hawk” is you should always stand up for yourself and take action.The evidence I found for “The Spider Monkey" is on paragraph 14, when the author wrote, “Maybe, he thought, I should plan ahead.” Where I found evidence for “Raven the trickster and the Fish Hawk” is on paragraph 8 when the author states,” Fish Hawk finally grew disgusted by Raven's laziness and greed. He flew away from his own house.”The themes of “Raven the trickster and the Fish Hawk” and “The Spider Monkey and the Marmoset.” are different and similar in various ways. How they are similar is they both are life lessons. They are different because one tells that you should be prepared, while the other one says you should stand up for yourself. This evidence proves that the themes of both stories are similar and different.

A compare and contrast for The spider monkey and the Marmoset  and Raven the Trickster and the Fish Hawk is that Marmoset and Raven are similar because Spider monkey asks for food from Marmoset, and Raven asks Fish hawk if he can stay with Fish hawk.  A Theme statement in The spider monkey and the Marmoset, be prepared early not late. In Raven the Trickster and the Fish Hawk, never be greedy to people that will help you. In paragraph 5 the large number of fruit plummeted to the ground.Spider monkey asked Marmoset for food and Marmoset said no you should have done this earlier. In paragraph 3 Raven glanced about slyly and noticed that the hawk had laid in a large supply of food. Spider monkey and Raven are similar is that Spider monkey and Raven are the same because they are both greedy. Spider monkey and Raven are different is that they both ask the other character in the story.

In the second text, an example of the theme is in paragraph 6, “Weeks passed by and raven did nothing to help. He made his host gather food for both of them while he slept and ate up the meals.”  This evidence proves that they both went through a hard time  together.
