A Biologist and a Licensed Teacher.

I am working as a Wildlife Biologist in a non-government sector here in Cebu.

I find my interest in Conservation Biology wherein focuses in preservation of the Philippine endemic flora and fauna.

The Philippines is home to over 700 threatened species, making it one of the world’s most important conservation sites. 

Sadly, wildlife conservation in the Philippines still mostly takes place at grassroots level, with little effective government action to protect these species.

I am also a member of a small group called "NaTAd" (Native Tree Advocate). This group strongly promotes in planting Philippine native trees. Native trees help recover and expand forest habitats for threatened native species of plants and animals. They protect watershed and freshwater resources and secure the livelihood of local people. We hoped that thru this humble initiative we can improve the status of the local biodiversity. 🙂
