When a 3 year old child stands in front of the class to do a show and tell session, the encouragement from the people around who will help to guide them to learn how to do public speaking will eventually support their emotional development by boosting their inner confidence. They will also be then able to interact with their peers casually in class, discussing about their own personal likings and dislikes. ( Lya)

Teacher can get those who are more confident in speaking to start first as a good example so that the rest of the children will feel confident in standing in front of the class and follow as demonstrated. For children who are less confident, the adults can help to use visual aids as guidance. Children who are shy to talk can also use picture cards as a guide to show their preference. ( Lya)

Teacher can also set a specific day every week e.g predictable routines like "Show and Share Tuesday" so children know when they’ll have a chance to share. Teacher to rotate children weekly so others have chance to observe.( Lya)

IFC - 1) Since infants are non verbal, it is hard for us to do show n tell but teachers can do the show n tell on their behalf by using their choosen object and narrate it like for example, "This is Vihana's pacifier. She suck it when she is cranky, sleepy and feel like shouting. It helps her to calm down. By doing so, it models emotional expressio. 2) Give children enough time to explore and engage them in back and forth convo, narrate their actions. 3) Respond warmly and consistent to their cues. Follow their lead by observing their interests and allow them to explore at their own pace.

1) Ask children to bring something that has personal values (e.g. family photo, comfort toy) and respond with empathy to what they share

2) consistent routine : make sure and tell a regular activity maybe by doing it weekly to also help them to be familiar with show and tell.
