I believe that the message being conveyed is not only about the acknowledgement of other peoples opininons, but it is more so about the consideration that one persons resilient opinion is often based off of anothers belief.

Caring for our veterans Shouldn't be an issue at all.
As a Nation we should provide benefits and aid to retired and/or disabled veterans.
However, as family members of those veterans, we should care for our elders who fought for us.
Having special programs in place will help people who support this cause more effectively do so.
