Mutali has shown excellent progress in developing his body awareness. He confidently identifies his basic body parts and takes pleasure in activities that involve movement and coordination. He enjoys moving to music and joining in games such as Simon Says, following the actions with enthusiasm. His particularly loves the obstacle course, demonstrating growing confidence as he climbs the stairs and balances carefully on the beam. His favourite activity is crawling through the tunnel, which he approaches with excitement and determination.

Fine Motor:

Mutali enjoys building transport-themed puzzles and takes pleasure in creative activities. He is still developing his pencil grip and requires some assistance to hold a crayon correctly. He enjoys using scissors to cut playdough and participates enthusiastically, though he still needs encouragement to hold the scissors properly. With gentle support and continued practice, he will continue to strengthen his fine motor control and accuracy.

Mutali takes great pleasure in participating in gross motor activities. He is enthusiastic when climbing the climbing wall and is steadily gaining confidence as he explores new challenges. He particularly enjoys ball games, running and kicking the ball with energy and excitement. He also delights in action songs such as “The Freeze Dance,” showing joy as he follows the movements and rhythm.

Mutali’s growing confidence and active participation in physical activities are very encouraging!

Mutali has made great progress in his visual perceptual skills. He can confidently complete a three-piece puzzle and takes pride in his sense of accomplishment. While he still requires some assistance with a six-piece puzzle, continued practice will help him master this skill. He is eager to learn his alphabet letters and can identify the corresponding pictures, such as apple, dog and rainbow, with focus and engagement, showing real enthusiasm during these activities. His progress and concentration are truly impressive!

Auditory Development:

Mutali is making good progress in his auditory perceptual skills. He enjoys listening to songs and rhymes and makes a great effort to join in with class singing. He listens attentively during group activities and is able to follow simple verbal instructions. He is keen to identify animal sounds, such as a dog barking or a cat meowing, and can imitate these sounds when prompted. With continued exposure to a variety of listening activities, Mutali’s ability to discriminate and interpret sounds will continue to develop.
