I think that brazilians should do what they always do, take things from other countries and make it ours. For example, the independence day, if we copy and paste the american culture in ours, and difuse it with cultures of ours country it'd be a great step. And some years after that we should have our own celebretation, with things of our culture, just because we tried.

i think that historical holydays mainy are the most important ones. is good to learn and know about our country. Maybe peaple shoud celebreat them like they celebreate carnaval. My sugestion it's celebrate as crnaval, although i don't know how convince peaple to do that.

If we could be more patriotic, the independence day woul be more important for us and we would surely do a lot of things, like putting the flags and painting our faces with the colors of our country. i guess that the importance of the independence day represents the revolutions that happened in history and were very relevant for what is our nation now.
