         <description><![CDATA[<div>In japan businesses are shut down from January 1 to January 3 and families gather to spend days together. Every year at the stroke of new years years eve, Buddhist temple all over japan ring their bonsho (temple bells). A 108 times an event know as joya no kane. The number represents the number of human desires, according to the Buddhist faith leads  to pain and suffering. Joya no kane is a ritual its meant to drive away negative emotions from the past year. Nenga is a new year greetings. Sending a Nenga cards to friends and family is a popular new year tradition. So in japan, the post office makes a special effort to ensure everyone's Nenga is delivered on new years day. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For the biggest party in the city, head to Jackson Square. Its packed with festival partygoers are eager to count down the time until new years arrive. If outdoors celebrations and big crowds not for u, make a fine reservation at the city many fines restraunt and celebrate the evening over delectable meals and of course lots of bubbly. Many restaurant offer special deals or packages for the evening. New years concert feels like parties. Many offer hor d'oeuvres open bars for a flat cover fee. The Louisiana Children's Museum hosts an annual countdown till noon - a festival celebration including games, entertainment, and a new years countdown complete with balloons and confetti drops.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In brazil beaches strategic places to celebrate the night of New Year’s Eve. They gather to experience outdoor concerts, carnival dances, bars open 24-hours, and jaw-dropping fireworks. Rio’s Copacabana Beach has the most famous New Year celebration!  Second, because beaches are where the Iemanjá ritual is performed. Iemanjá is an African-Brazilian deity from the Candomblé and Umbanda religions. She is held to be the patron of fishermen and also of the survivors of shipwrecks, the spirit of moonlight, and the feminine principle of creation. In Brazilian culture, all are expected to wear white attire to welcome the New Year, in order to attract peace and happiness. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><em>Osechi Ryori are the traditional foods enjoyed on New Year’s day in Japan. They come in an assortment of colorful dishes packed together in special boxes called jubako. </em>The Japanese celebrate the New Year Day with traditional New Year foods called <strong>Osechi Ryorui. </strong> Osechi Ryori are usually packed in 2-3 layers of lacquer boxes (ojubako) and there are many dishes in each layer. </div>]]></description>

Steamed fish is one of the most famous Chinese New Year recipes. What fish should be chosen for the New Year dinner is based on auspicious homophonic. The fish should be the last dish left with some left over, as this has auspicious homophonics for there being<strong> surpluses every year.</strong></div>]]></description>

Every year about 2 million people gather in New York time square to watch the famous ball drop. The traditions began in 1907 with a 700 pound ball that was slowly lowered down a pole until it reached the ground by midnight. The ball is 11,875 pounds and covered in sparkling Waterford crystals. </div>]]></description>

There is one anime that I know that street race called Initial D, love the anime. The anime is about street racing,drifting, and cars.
