         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p><strong>The first major event was the transition from being an Olympic athlete to being in the military. This impacted him because it showed him what hard work and determination can get you.</strong></p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><ol start="2"><li><p><strong>The next event was the time when he had crashed the green hornet plane and had to survive 47 days on a raft until he could make it home. This impact him because he was able to see that he could survive n his on and the belief of him giving up was gone.</strong></p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><ol start="3"><li><p><strong>The next event was when he was captured and put in the pow camps. This was impacting him because he had to live with little food and was beaten everyday but in the end he was able to survive and show that even in the worst conditions he can still have hope.</strong></p></li></ol><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>The story takes place in 1929 and is expanded all the way till the end of World War II where the US beat japan.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>The time period impacted the people because they were in poor housing conditions and they were at a state of war at the time so people were always worried that an attack could come.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>The main action took place in California where Louie lived and grew up. Also Japan was a man's part because that was where Louie had been for POW camps and where he attacked Japanese soldiers.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>They places impact his life since California is where is lived life and where he knew what the world was about. And japan war impacted the plot and conflict since Louie had to deal with all the japanese people beating on him and other things.</strong></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>The author gave the lesson of never giving up and never letting anyone tear you down.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>This was because Louie had to deal with a lot of situations where he could have just quit or lost hope and he would have died. But instead he fought through it and ended up staying alive.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>She impacted how the book was written&nbsp; because she had chronic fatigue syndrome and started writing books to show that you can still do anything even if you have an illness. Also she wrote unbroken because from her other book seabiscuit she found an article about Louis Zamperini and wanted to write about him.</strong></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>The author used ethos by the character Louie talking about how if you have lost spirit of hope in something you will never win because you will not be as energized to go do something if you have lost hope in something and you will end up losing or dieing if you let people mess with you.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>The abused used pathos by using the character in the story by having them all crying and mopping in the pow camps and in the next couple of hours they were dead which shows that losing your spirit to hope to do something will always get you to lose.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>The author uses logos by talking about the fact that when Louie was in the camps the people explained the logic that the people who give up usually die and never see the light of day.</strong></p>]]></description>
