I am scared that if I fail this course that I will be unable apply and get in to university to become and children's nurse.

I an concerned that I will fall behind I the class and be unable to catch up by not being to understand the context of each of the tasks which will cause for me to panic and not want to do the work and fall behind even more.

SWOT - Strengths

Some of my strengths are that I have great people skills in which I an able to talk to anyone by being bale to find something in common to continue to have a conversation. I fell this is due to having a bubbly and very happy personality which will help other to feel the same. Another of my strengths are that I have great leadership skills in which I an able to instruct people within group in how to be the most effective to get the work done with the best of everyone's abilities working together at the same time while including everyone.

Some examples of myself using theses are during group events in which I will need to ensure that everyone is taking part and ensure that everyone will understand the assignments set to complete to ensure that I am a good leader and people skills to keep the group doing the jobs and tasks that they have been instructed to complete.

I already do well in having good communication skills and good listening skills which allow for others to see that I am interested in what they have to stay and be able to give my input into the discussion by proving that I am listen and being present when talking to others.

Other people see that my strengths are having good eye contract which shows that I understanding what they are saying that they can see that I have an interest in the conversation. other people say I have good communication skills as I am ale tot understand and have an input into a conversation and be bale to relate and give advice on what people have to say.

I consider these traits for my own point of view as it allows me to be able to continue to be a good communication so I can understand what people like and am able to contribute to having a conversation with someone. this can be seen by someone else that I am a more enjoyable person to be around as they will know that I will understand and listen to what others are saying.

SWOT - Weaknesses

Some areas in which I need to improve as through reading and complete work to a high expectation as I struggle with proof reading work which will cause for silly spelling mistakes or sentences not making sense.

I lack experience through being within a health and social care business and workplace which can set me back as in some of my work I will not be able to relate to an experience which may push me back from understanding some work and experiences others may have.

Some things that I do poorly is that I should be doing tasks and activities as soon as I get them to allow for me to understand them and complete then within time without having to stress about a teacher to tutor receiving the work in time or receiving the work late.

Some things that I should avoid are to stop procrastinating and avoiding leaving tasks to the last minute to keep me on top of my work and allow for my work to be on time or early to allow to get feedback back from teachers to give myself time to do correction to have the best work possible.

Some things that family and friends say as that I can become untidy when stresses and become less organised I find that this I true as it causes for me to losses things such as important papers or I end up leaving things behind with can be a problem as this may be importance course work or something that may need to be post which will then become late and cause me to become more unorganised due to falling behind.

I am not surprised with my result as over the years i have found that i gravity more to learning more visually through different graphs diagrams and pictures which help my brain to understand the information more easily.

Some opportunities that are available to me through the course I am complete are that it is able to get me more educated in the health and social care service. to be bale to get a job in which I will know more about and also have a better understand for opportunities within the workplace to give the best service to patients and clients.

There will also be may different websites such as NTU to look up different events and careers in which will be able to use my course with wile also giving lots of opportunities available. The NTU will also allow me to have the best use out of the website through giving and receiving education information about different subject in which will be bale to use through my course for different pieces of coursework.

Some opportunities which can come my way can consider my strengths through being a good listener through being able to talk to others confidently which can go good for having opportunities as I will be able to listen carefully to the information given so that I can effectively use the information the correct context while also being able to give a response through asking further questions.

Some of the obstacles which can be involved in other activities are that I am need some information to be presented within a image for such as through graphs and tables due to have dyslexia I am more of a visual leaver which means that I like to watch or see images to be bale to understand information better when revising or completing work o the best of my abilities.

There are some issues such as having time constraints such as I become stresses when I have work that I haven't done yet when it starts getting close to the deadline that i start to stress which caused me not to complete the activity or tasks to the best of my ability which can make the work look bad due to be stress and worrying about the work being handed in late.

This weakness can threaten some opportunities as it can mean that I will need to have access to a computer which will have software that will call read out load the information which is represented on the screen to help me better understand the information rather than reading it myself. as this can cause for the information to get mixed up when reading aloud with can make the information harder to understand.

I have many past experiences such as through my course work for a travel and tourism piece of coursework in which I didn't achieve my goal through not being able to understand the criteria in which was being asked to complete due to not understand how to do the work. This effected me as I was unable to complete the task in time and had to ask another teacher to be bale to teach me through a different way which caused for the work to be handed in late. I have learnt from this experience through knowing which way in which I know my brain works and how I am able to learn with is best suited for myself to understand the information more clearly.

I can overcome these other the next two years through being bale to learn more about how I am comfortable through my type of learning by using images and pictures, by starting tasks and work as soon as I get it and being able to understand the information more better.

Harvard Referencing Worksheet

1) The importance of using Harvard referencing is to tell the person who is reading the work to know what the source that has been used within the work and also how to find the information used within the course work.

2) The authors name should be placed at the end of the sentence and before the full stop which is places after a relevant quote of piece of information.

3) Within the referencing entry for Harvard referencing should include the author, date the data was published and a page number if the information is from a direct quote.

4) When writing a title page using Harvard referencing the information that should be present is the title of the article, the title of the journal, date and month the information was published and page numbers of the article.

5) The correct way to insert Harvard referencing is by insert the website author, the year it was published/ the latest update and the internet site.

6) When adding in a direct quote with Harvard referencing you should add in punctuation marks through adding in inverted commas to add in information within the brackets.

7) When a website has many different author when using Harvard referencing you should use the surname of the first author as the other persons name should be within the text of the information and at eh end of adding the first name should include et al for any other names.

8) To add more authors onto a piece of work in which the source has more than one author you should use et al however this should only be used when there is more than four authors who have contributed to adding information.

9) The different between intext citation and reference list entry are that in-text citation is a brief piece of work that is detailed or a quoted form which is being referenced to a piece of information or text. rather than a reference list entry which is a long list of all the references which has been added into the end of you work with all the references in alphabetical order by the authors name.

10) True as it will allow for the reader to find the direct information.
