1. Pull up the smore website on the smartboard so that when the students first come in the classroom they will get an idea of what we are going to talk about in class today.
2. Begin the class by introducing myself and what the topic of today’s lesson is going to be about.
3. Students will be asked to fill out the worksheet What I know, What I want to know, What I learned; students will be asked to fill out the worksheet as we move along throughout the lesson.
4. I will pull up the smore lesson page to where we will begin discussing our Solar System and planets.
5. Students will then be asked to grab a packet for their teams.
6. Students will get together in a group of 3-4 and will be asked to grab a laptop and work in teams to finish their packet that will cover the basic questions over the Solar System and the planets.
7. Students will then be asked to go to the smore website where they will read over the information provided and answer the questions their packet.
8. Students will be asked to answer the information in their packet and to also play the online activities provided when they finish with each planet.
9. Students will start reviewing the quizlet provided in the smore website. 
10. When a group finishes early they will be asked to grab a word search sheet and work on it silently while their classmates finish their packet.
11.  Students will then be asked to put away their laptops and to take a seat back in their chairs.
12. At the end when the students are done filling out their packets they will watch a short video where in the video it will do an overview over the lesson that they have learned over the planets.

I would put the Special Needs learners with a support group with their peers.

Simplify and declutter the classroom for my students so they don't get distracted. 

I would remind the students each time how much time they have left to work on their packet. 

Instead of having the students with a learning disability fill out the packet they can do the assignment on Office Word Document.

Instead of having the students that are Non-Native speakers put the information in English I will have them write 2 pages of the packet in their own language and then the rest in English.

have an outline of directions printed out in their language so that they can understand what today's lesson is going to be about.

Use visual and concrete information as much as possible.

I would level my class assignments and learning outcomes for those who are gifted.

I would plan in advance a "vertical enrichment" activity for gifted students where the student would make a brochure over their favorite planet and give me 10 interesting facts about the planet that they choose. Students are asked to research a planet in our solar system, and illustrate and fill in various pieces of information on the brochure.
