anyone with an Android phone can start creating pictures like Podwal did. The Google Cardboard Camera app lets you snap your own virtual reality photos for viewing in Google Cardboard. Anyone who’s taken a panoramic shot using their smartphone already knows how to use this app: You hold your phone in a vertical position, tap the camera button, and move in a circle

http://www.wired.com/2015/12/google-cardboard-camera-app/

Virtual reality in education is the new hype and it’s changing the meaning of a sentence I love since I was a kid: “We love books because they are the greatest escape. That is because our own minds eye is the purest form of virtual reality.” Virtual reality will provide immersive experience for learning, but I see some signals it will come at a slower pace than you expect. This is what I’m going to explore in this post.

http://www.31december2099.com/2016/01/24/why-virtual-reality-in-education-is-the-next-big-thing/
