Students are not expected to give a "fixed/model" answer but are assessed based on how well they fufill the rubrics given. <br>2. Pros: Authentic learning &amp; stretching of creativity and applications. Cons: May be hard to execute<br>3. Won't it be hard to keep on thinking of creative and novel AA tasks?<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students choose one place to visit n write a report to explain what science-related knowledge they learnt fr their visit.<br><br>Pros: student-directed; students get to choose where they want to go; allows for more trs’ discretion to award students’ effort.<br><br>Cons: students who couldn’t be bothered, just went to grass patch below his block, or throw in some vague concepts learnt in pri sch; extend n depth of learning is spread over a v broad spectrum; SES advantage came into play.<br><br>My qn: if the student didnt “succeed” in producing a working product n the rubric may be bias towards learning from positive outcomes... do we consider learning “what is wrong”/“what didn’t work” as learning too??</div>]]></description>
