One gram of fat is equivalent to nine calories. Calories can either be good or bad for you, depending on whether the calories are from fat or not. The more food you eat, the more your calorie intake is. You can burn off these calories by doing simple tasks around the house, like vacuuming.

I made my graph by first drawing the quadrant my numbers fell in, which was the first quadrant. I then decided what scale my numbers had to go by to accommodate the measurements I had to graph. The y-axis was going to go by 5s because every single measurement of calories fell on a multiple of 5. The x-axis was going to go by 1s because the measurements of grams of fat weren't all multiples of the same number except for 1. The independent variable (the x-axis) is the amount of fat because it determines how many calories there are in a certain food, and the dependent variable (y-axis) depends on the amount of fat in the food. Then, the ordered pairs were the amount of fat in the food and the calories. (grams of fat, calories) For each dressing, I graphed the points and labeled them. All of the points were almost in a diagonal line.
