better. After completing the collage, we currently have more or less a rough idea for what we are going to do for our zine page, thinking about outer space, environments as well as darker aspects. We
are currently thinking about creating our own planet but are unsure.

After checking with my group mates, we came to the decision to make the grass areas of the planet purple. We chose this because according to my research on colour meaning it represents luxury and richness, just like the plant life. Some colours appeared too dull and did not fit the biology of the plants, as well as this, since the planet is rich in life, the colour cannot be very dull or lifeless. Because of this, I stuck with purples along with a bright contrasting colour to make them stand out more. The materials present within the printmaking rooms were very professional and good quality, making my resulting prints come out neat, bold and highly pigmented. My aim with the  contrast of colour was to being the viewers attention to the figures within the illustrations without overwhelming them with too many colours and details mixed together. While creating my colour variations, I would ask my peers for feedback on whether the colours were too overwhelming or too undersaturated and making the illustration too muddy. After experimenting with various combinations of colours and compiling peer feedback, I decided to use the contrasting colours of yellow and blue.
