I think that teenagers in Córdoba have a very realistic life, because they access to a lot of information through their cell phones. They live with many concerns over social violence because there are too many thefts and dangerous street situations for them. Additionally, there is bullying inside schools. Bullying is something that scares teenagers because they are afraid of being excluded and discriminated. Therefore, some adolescents change their true personalities into a new and more "socially accepted" personality, and that makes them feel really bad not only at school but also everywhere they go. Unfortunately, many parents don´t realize about these situations, so their children cannot have their help.

In my opinion, teenagers are afraid of many situations. For example they are afraid of being transparent or to much sincere, they´re afraid of show their feelings, and they´re afraid of express what they want to do or what they want to say. All those feelings of fear are directly related to "what others will think about teenagers", and all those feelings of fear may start at home. Sometimes parents put high expectations on "perfect" sons and "perfect" daughters. For instance, if you are a girl you have to be ready to be a delicate and beautiful woman, and if you are a boy you have to be a handsome, sportsman and womaniser adolescent! Those problems appear when some parents (as adults) do not realize the negative effects those expectations have on their children. Parents should see that teenagers who cannot meet those expectations will feel frustration and will have feelings of helplessness.
Generally, an average teenager has an active social life, for example, he or she will have parties or meetings every weekend, and it is highly important that they (the teenagers) feel socially accepted everywhere they go, that is the most important issue for them (the teenagers). Although tt sounds easy to get, I can assure you it is not! Especially if the adolescent is lesbian, gay, trans, poor or just a foreign person in town. Please, adults, remember that!

Basically, those values can be found mostly in any toy, for instance in every thing related to the care of the house and children, as with the beauty, fashion and house aspects of Barby dolls , which are aimed at girls and have a sexist language designed to express those stereotypes.
On the other hand, boys play with a very large variety of toys like cars, balls, guns and games with mechanic devices that show professional activities.
Have you ever had this perspective of games?
Therefore, it is very important that children interact with a wide variety of toys so that they can experiment and decide what interests them or not, whether they are boys or girls. It is crucial that parents choose responsably the toys for their children, because through those toys gender roles will teach boys to treat girls with respect, and viceversa. Maybe that is the way to fight against gender discrimination in today society.

I´m a adolescent from Córdoba, Argentina, and I think that sometimes in our country all the rules and internal regulations at schools may influence deeply in our lives; also teachers asking us to solve difficult exercises in exams can put pressure on us not matter the gender of the student. All those stressful situations may cause unwanted consequences.

I also think that teenager’s stress is undervalued because teenagers are not accustomed to live under that physical or mental pressure. Furthermore, adolescent period of time is a stage of life where emotions are changing all the time, and as some teenagers are not able to manage those stressful moments they may start facing depression. Depression is a very dangerous and silent disease at that age, and sometimes it is extremely complicated to heal.

My opinion is that adults should take teens more seriously, not only for their physical well-being, but also to help them psychologically.

My grandmother told me that in twentieth century very few people deared to show themselves as they really were. In relation to gender aspects, people who didn´t have heterosexual tendencies were "in the closet" forever, and to be socially accepted men had to be the strong bosses of the house, and housewives (women) always had to be willing to do everything their husbands wanted. As regards teenagers, they had to keep quiet and not get involved in any adult matters.

Obviously at present, in the twenty-first century you don't often see those situations, however there are exceptions. Here are some old ideas people should change:
FIRST, men don't cry". SECOND, "Women are useless". THIRD, "Men are the owners of everything". FOURTH, "Women have to do what men say". FIFTH, "Men do not paint themselves". SIXTH, "Women have to shave". SEVENTH, "Men don't dance". EIGHTH "Women don't fight". NINTH, "Boys have to play with cars". TENTH, "Girls have to play with dolls". ELEVENTH, "Boys shouldn't have female friends". TWELFTH, "Girls shouldn't have male friends", THIRTEENTH, "Friendship between men and women doesn't exist", FOURTEENTH, "Men only have to kiss women". Finally, in my opinion it will always be the right option to accept and respect people as they are, no matter whether they have homosexual or heterosexual tendencies. Accepting all kind of genders is the way to avoid gender problems.

My day begins with every morning, from Monday to Friday, waking up at 5:50 a.m, I'm a few minutes to waken completely.
