Uzbekistan is a country found in the continent of Central Asia, which is north of Turkmenistan and south of Kazakhstan. The absolute location of Uzbekistan is 40N, 60E. A positive impact of this location is the climate. The climate ensures that the people of Uzbekistan have a surplus of food because of fertile soil. A negative impact of this location is that since Uzbekistan is a landlocked country and isn't near water, it is harder to trade because it's not easy to transport things to and from Uzbekistan without Oceans nearby.

Uzbekistan is in an arid climate region with very cold winters and very hot summers. People are positively impacted by this climate because having a climate like this means that people are positively impacted because the climate makes fertile soil for agriculture. People are negatively impacted living in this climate region because people might need more water than they have because of the intense heat.

The people of Uzbekistan produce many different things such as oil, natural gas, and gold, but they are most known for being one of the biggest cotton producers in the world. Cotton positively impacts the people that live in Uzbekistan because it is used for trading and making clothes. Cotton negatively impacts the people that live in Uzbekistan because cotton can pollute the environment by worsening the soil condition.

The people of Uzbekistan often use public transportation such as trains and buses. This positively impacts the people who live there because if there are less cars, less gas will be used up which will cause less pollution. This negatively impacts the people who live there because it will use up a lot of natural resources to make them. Uzbekistan also has 11 airports in total. 6 of the airports are international while the rest are not.

An important landform in Uzbekistan is the fergana valley. The fergana valley positively impacts society because it is where most cotton is produced. It also produces lots of fruit and raw silk. The fergana valley negatively impacts society because it doesn't have a lot of water because it is a landlocked country so they constantly fight over water because it's a survival need. People use water everyday for many things such as drinking, cleaning, and agriculture but without water, the people of Uzbekistan cannot do those things. Another important landform in Uzbekistan is the KyzylKum desert. The KyzylKum desert positively impacts society because there are a lot of varieties of animals and plants there. The KyzylKum desert negatively impacts society because there are no water sources.

The locations, climates, natural resources, movements, and landforms in Uzbekistan impact the people who are living in Uzbekistan because, they have a lot of materials that other countries might not, especially cotton. The transportation in Uzbekistan is cheap so many people can afford to get on. The climate helps agriculture because it gives fertile soil.
