The band teacher had some news that the Performance was moved from 3pm to 11:30 but the problem with that is Scout and Merrin had a meet and great with there favorite author so they went back up to their hotel and had to get in their uniforms but Scout told Merrin that they should skip the performance and go to the meet and greet but Marrin thought that was a joke but Scout was serious about it and was trying to make up excuses about why they can't do the concert like food poisoning from the hot dog stand but Merrin was mad so Scout told the band group that she had food poison. Recess came around eventually and Ai shi just curled up in a corner waiting impatiently for the bell to ring. When the end of the school day accrued Ai Shi was so excited and she walked home with Ba. When Ai shi got home in their small apartment she wrote a letter about all the things that are happening in America to her cousin/BFF Mei. Ai Shi also celebrated her birthday in America, that is all she had ever dreamed of. For her birthday she thought there would be a big cake, presents, photos. Fink told him that the priest was killed by Devlin. Then, Fink got some other boys to help him. They dragged Jaron to an inn. Later that night, Erick and some other theives attacked him. They dragged him away and they all rode to the camp. Jaron was forced to steal from Harlowe to prove his loyaty. It turns out Mott was at Harlowe's house. Mott injured himself so the theives would trust Jaron. Then, Jaron convinced the theives to take him to the pirates, because he knew where Carthya's treasure was kept. Qibli is a SandWing who is now in the Jade Mountain Academy. He was explaining when he was younger and how his mom, Cobra abandoned him. His crush, Moonwatcher and some other dragons left with Darkstalker, the king of the NightWings.
