Pretty Dismal. The party will focus on the dueling swans Odette (the White Swan) and Odile (the Black Swan) often portrayed by the same ballet dancer. I chose this theme as I love fairytales especially the beautiful and dark ones like Swan Lake. Swan Lake, though is a popular ballet, is a lesser fairytale. I also think that it would be an excellent theme for a party and it's good to fantasize in a world that's black and white/good vs. evil rather than the reality of greys of the world. The color theme would be black and white and it would be a very classy/sophisticated theme. Similar in style to a masquerade party. The music will be the traditional Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, more specifically the music for the swans. It's a rarer theme than tea parties which is why it is an excellent choice and it is also a wonderful chance to dress up. I think balls and masquerades should be brought back as a regular thing.
