"My name is Ruben and I get many stereotypes of being a part of the Cholo category of Mexicans. The way I dress and the type of accessories I wear dictate many people to think yeah he's cholo". I interviewed His friend Samuel who said, "Before I met him he reminded me of a Cholo with the typical high socks, low shorts, and pro club type of Mexican". I also interviewed (wanted to be unknown) Another student who isn't friends with Ruben said "The first time I have seen him I wasn't scared of him, I just thought of him as someone I didn't want to run into or make trouble with because he looked like a cholo who was part of Looney Mob(A clit from Clairemont who is considered a gang)". I interviewed Ruben again on those two individuals thoughts on him and Ruben said "I honestly understand the way they look at me because I do dress like that. But my personality when you get to know me is a lot different than the way I dress, I'm a cool dude who likes to play video games and I love to play the game of football with all my friends.

Mexican Football Player

"A lot of people based on first look at me, assume I play "Futbol" because of me being Mexican. But I'm a "Football" player and am grateful that I had the opportunity to become one. Sometimes it does annoy me when people constantly ask me if I play futbol or if I'm going to play because of my race. I interviewed his friend Malcolm who said " Honestly my first look at Oscar I assumed he played Soccer because he just looked like one. I didn't think he just played football until I saw him at football tryouts and asked him if he played Soccer as well and he said nah". I then interviewed another student who doesn't know Oscar at all and just sees him around school he said, "I thought he played Soccer as well until I went to a football game and seen him after the game which surprised me to see him playing football and not Soccer." I then interviewed Oscar on his thoughts about what the two students said about him and he said "I don't understand why people just assume I play Soccer just because I'm Mexican, that's not the only sport us Mexicans play. Many Mexicans play baseball, Football, Basketball and many other sports so it just annoys me when people constantly assume that about me when there's actual proof that Mexicans can play in other sports besides Soccer".

Intimitating, Crazy, Mean Football Player

"I'm David and I get many types of names called about because of how I dress and how I play my sports. I don't think I'm any of the names people call me. I'm just very passionate and competitive when it comes to anything, not just sports. I love sports and try to win in those sports which brings out the best in me in everything I do. I interviewed a few students on what they would describe David and one student said "Crazy, the reason I say that is because when I watched a Football game I seen him also kill somebody where his legs were folded and he David was still continuing to block the kid almost making his back to touch his legs which definitely made me glad in my decision to not play football after what I seen David do to that kid. The other student said "Intimidating, he always has his hood and carries a big military backpack which makes me question what he has in that backpack. I never see him talking to anybody and is always quiet and to himself. I interviewed David again on his thoughts on what the students stated about him and said "Makes sense but the reason behind is because I don't like talking to people, I only have a few friends that I can actually talk to that get me. If you really get to know me you would understand that I'm chill. I'm just not a talkative person that can talk to anybody. I have to really get close to you for you to see my real personality.
