Bob, John, Joe and Susy had been working in a new office together for just a few months. They all noticed their office was not working to its full potential. So, they got together and decided to brainstorm. Each one of them came up with something different they felt would set the pace for the office to not only work better together but it would also raise the effectiveness of their performance and bring it to new heights. But this would take everyone to get engaged in their efforts. Not everyone is the same therefore what works for one may not work for the other. They had to figure out what worked for each individual in order to get them engaged. Once they did, and everyone was given their own place in the work center, not only did the engagement of the employees go up but so did their performance and morale.

According to Andy Holloway, "The real trick is to ensure members of your team never stop enjoying their work. Bérard says the easiest way to do that is make sure all employees know what they are expected to contribute, how it impacts the company and where they fit in the grand scheme of things. Regular reward for a job well done is also a nice bonus. It doesn't have to be cash, just some form of recognition to show employees they're valued. Bosses can also keep employees engaged by running efficient, organized meetings, taking action to resolve potentially bad situations, and holding people accountable when they do not perform as expected".

References
Holloway, A.
