Some people argue that, in this period of crisis, with major inflation, these companies allow, faster and cheaper flights. People can work during the flight’s time, or visit another distant place in their spare time. For example, the biggest airports, like Madrid-Barajas or Barcelona-Josep Tarradellas will have, year by year, more direct flights to other important airports. 

Others feel, however, that this kind of travelling is environmentally damaging, wasting a lot of petrol. Big companies are buying low-cost ones, resulting in an oligopoly, with agreed prices. Moreover, they are being argued that in medium distances, 500-600 km, the best way is using high-speed trains, for example, Madrid – Barcelona. Or it’s unnecessary taking a plane to assist business meetings or similar because you can do it remotely.

In my opinion, people should avoid using aeroplanes as much as possible, for work or pleasure time. We have a lot of near places to visit and enjoy, and doing serious research to achieve alternative energy sources, like green hydrogen.

To sum up, society should be more conscious about travelling and its consequences, always taking care of our planet, and responsibly enjoying our free time.

Aviation managed to connect the world. Although, aviation wants to be more environmentally friendly without losing sight of the well-being and comfort of its passengers.

Undoubtedly, some people argue that are working to increase the comfort of air travel, is the project that Boeing from the University of Cincinnati and the foundation The Live Well Collaborative introduced March 2021 and contemplates the creation of a coworking space. Your 'Coffee House Cabin' 

Others feel, however, that it the aviation also seeks to eliminate the garbage and convert organic waste into compost and clean energy before landfall. 

Additionally, now we only have for devices such as the new Airbus 320 Neo, that has managed to reduce consumption and pollution by 15%.

In my opinion, travelling by plane is neither cheap, nor fast, nor comfortable.

For instance, in December 2019 I went on holiday to Gran Canaria Island. I got up very early, I walked a lot through the airport, it was not at all a comfortable flight, it was more than three hours trip, I arrived exhausted. When I got to the hotel it was completely dark.

To sum up, those who believe that air travel is now perfect, they must know that it is not enough, everything can be improved.

In conclusion, indeed, it is necessary to invest a lot of money and effort, but in the future air travel will be fast, comfortable, cheap, and environmentally conscious.

Firs of all, I’m agree with the first theory, that defends the point we will have more leisure time as computers replace many home works. I think the same  because our world is improving day by day. The companies more an more are investing in I+D, trying to make easier and more automatics our lifes. Indeed, nowadays  there are domotic houses which have a lot of automatics services. Those constructions are no stardandized because they are too expensive, but we are on that way to make our life more comfortable at home in order to save time.

On the contrary, I’m not agree with de second statment that put the focus in the point that we will have less leisure because employers will expect us to be available at all times. But in my opinion it’s changing actually nowadays. I mean, we started with the 24 hours connected style of life, but then the people realized that this meaned a decline in their quality of life, they lost privacy and time to theirselves. Luckly some countries have started to regularize that situations by the law, protecting the worker’s rights.

To sum up it’s just evolution. The point is to be able to adapt ourselves to the new circumstances and new reallities. I has no sense to fight against innovation, because in most cases, it just brings us a better life. It's up to us to find a way to adapt and improve our existence.

 

Some people think that flying will grow in the next years not only because the jobs. In fact, telematical jobs have increased and Internet arrives evevrywhere so, presencial business is not as necessary than years before. It is thought that the big increased would be given because of leisure. In fact, tourisim is the main source of income in our city and coming by plane the best option. This is the reason that there are a lot of facilities to come to Barcelona.

 

Others feel that planes pollute a lot. We are talking about a world that is changing the point of view of the enviroment and are trying to use more renewable energy. Moreover, politics force to the cities to use more green energy and to avoid big factories which pollute a lot. In addition, there are a lot of fines if this is not achived.

 

In my opinión, travelling by plane will never end because we need that conection and, personally, it’s the best way to travel for me. It’s true that  the pollution makes me worry and I’m thinking always to avoid it. Not only I think in this way, this is the reason that some engineering factories  are working to improve their planes in order to reduce pollution.

 

In conclusion, I think that we are getting used to see electrical cars and in the recent futur, We’ll get used to see electrical planes.

On one hand, some people have become accustomed to find a great deal of cheap flights, not just for work, but just to see new cultures on vacation or visit a friend during the weekend. In fact, traveling Madrid Barcelona is nowadays cheaper than that trip by train!!! this was unthinkable a few decades ago, when this flight was reserved only for business people because of its high price.

On the other hand, environmental pressure will increase the air flights prices even more in the coming years, and flying is likely to become too expensive for most people. 

Personally, I think world leaders should take measures to reduce climate change and prices of flights should been increased as soon as possible. Currently, with new technologies many business trips can be avoided, and many pleasure flights could be carried by train. Honestly, I do not see the need to travel every year for vacation so far from our home, at least you have your family there.

 To conclude, we have to take in to account that after the global pandemic, and the war in Ukraine, oil price has risen and therefore flights’ prices will do too. This year could be the right moment to reduce our trips by air, to save money and reduce the impact of the climate change.
