·         Underhand toss with palm facing up 

·         Release in front near chest height  

·         Keep eyes on ball as you toss/track to catch 

·         Stay in a good “ready position” 

·         Reach with both hands to catch 

·         Move to the ball when necessary 

·         Pinkies together for catches in front and below shoulder height 

·         Thumbs together when reaching above shoulders/head 

2.       Challenge yourself and gradually toss a little higher when you are ready 

·         High as you can reach 

·         3-5 ft. above head 

·         High as you can safely/successfully catch 

3.       See if you can toss slightly forward/backward/left/right and still catch 

·         Release with palm facing in the direction you want ball to go 

·         Track with your eyes 

·         Move to the ball so you can be in position to catch 

4.       How many can you catch in a row?  

·         Tossing to different heights? 

·         Catch at low/med/high level? 

·         Moving 2-5 steps to catch?
