in this video they talk about how hard it is for them living in this cruel world being black. they talked about how it is very unfair to them that they have to worry about being black and getting judged, they also talk about how they are always judged and how they get stopped by cops and how that little kids should not have to worry about that. the video is trying to teach us that judging other people aint right.

in the second video there is this black man and he sits by this old lady so the lady looks at him and moves her purse closer to her like if she thought he was going to rob her then the man sat their and then looked at her and said " boo" and she jumped up and ran off. that showed that the lady was scared of a black man because he was his color. once again a person got judged because of their color. the message the video is trying to get across is that we should not judge no one by their color.

in "the other side" by " jaqueline woodson" the sterotypes on black people were that they were powerless and should be seperated from the white people, so they seperated the whites from the blacks. in the story clover is very brave because she talked to the white gir knowing she could get in trouble or judged by the other black friends. clover is the upatander because she don't care what other people told her she talked to that girl while the other balck girls were perpentraders because they didint want to let the white girl play. the author is trying to teach us that no matter what race we are we all have equal power

in the story " twice as good" by " richard michelson" the sterotypes about black people was that white people are better then them and black people can never ber better. the white people had more power in this story becuase they were " better" so the black people felt more powerless. in the story william was the victim and the white people were the perpentraders because when will tried playing golf they told him he could not pla ybecause he was black, but william is very brave because he went back and earned to play golf and didint let the white people stop him. the author is trying to teach us dont let nobody tell us what we can or cant do becuase if we want something we are going to work until we get it.

" if you come softly"

i was inspired by the book " if you come softly" because it informs us on racism and how black people were treated because of their race. in the book ellie and jermiah were judged being together because of oneś race. in the book the boy is black and his father told him don run because he is black and will get in trouble or will be dead and he ran outside the feild and he got shot because he was a black man running. this sows people are being descriminated because of their color and that is a issue. this book inspired me to help end racism becuase its harming people in many ways.
