Firstly, members in a family can assist each other easily. Due to the busy schedule, some young parents must ask for the help from grandma and grandpa to look after kids. Secondly, different generations can learn and respect each other. Younger ones can learn from the older some good lessons and the older can learn from the younger some things related to modern life. Thirdly, it gives a family a chance to strengthen family bonds. The usual meetings and long talk in the family could make family bonds stronger and healthier. Finally, different generations share ideas, values, and experiences with each other on a regular basis. Some students can receive advice from their grandparents on which majors they should choose and they can even be inspired by the jobs of other people in the family.  

In conclusion, there are many advantages for people when they live with extended family and therefore, I think it is a good choice.
