This photo was taken from worms eye view. I put a filter over it and turned down the exposure. I edited it so that the flowers would be a more vibrant purple rather than a dull pink. I made the orange on the fish more enhanced. I also made the light in the back brighter to blur it out so you couldn't see the background.

In this photo, I put a bright light in the center to highlight the model. I positioned her face downwards in order to create a shadow between the hat and her face. I used the dodge and burn tool to enhance the shadows in the back and on her face, and to highlight certain parts of her, such as her body and the gloves. Lastly, I made sure to edit out her nose piercing, to give it more of a 1920's Art Deco feel.

I took this photo in the 800 building from worms eye view. I went onto the ground and faced the camera upwards toward the skylight. I then edited the photo to be black and white then rotated it to be horizontal rather than vertical.

I took this photo in the studio using a flashlight. I put it on the purple light, and put it on the right side in order to cast a shadow on the wall. I then cropped it and edited the flashlight out of the corner, I also removed some marks that were on the object and the floor.

I took this photo in the studio. I used a blue light and dimmed it so it was barely just highlighting the model.

I took this photo in the studio. I used two flashlights and put them on the purple light. I placed them on the table to the left and to the right in order to cast a shadow on both sides of the object. I then cropped and edited out the flashlights. I then turned up the contrast up a bit.

Negative Space

I took this photo in the studio using a white background and white light to create the effect on emptiness. There were some marks in the background that I removed, I also highlighted her skin very subtly, I cropped the bottom half a bit to create more negative space at the top, and lastly I turned it black and white.

I took this photo on the ramp at school. I placed the camera at an angle so you can see the light highlighting the left side of her shoes. I edited some of the markings that were on the floor and the wall out, and I turned up the vibrance brightness. I then isolated the subject and made the background color pop to really enhance the negative space around the main subject.

I took this photo of Agata on top of the lockers in the hallway nearest to the 100 building. I made her go into a pose, looking off into the distance creating a mysterious feeling. I removed some things from the background and the texture that was on the lockers, I then isolated the subject and made the background a brighter color.

I took this photo in the studio. I used a big white light that was directly on her, and put a subtle blue light off to the side so it had a bit of a tint. I then made her sit down and go into a pose. I then cropped it and removed things that were in the background. I turned up the brightness a bit and put a bit of the blue tint up.

I took this photo in the studio, I used white and blue lights so that it would be a white light on her and a blue shadow. I removed all of the marks that were on the wall. I lastly. cropped it and turned the brightness and vibrance up because it was a bit too dark at the bottom.

I took this photo in the studio. I lined up two pieces of paper that were blue, and put a black piece of paper in the background. I wanted something to put on the paper that was going to really pop against the other colors.

I took this photo in the studio. I found two pieces of pink paper to put down, since purple is close to pink on the color wheel I put purple as the background. I then found this purple bow and put it down to pop against the lighter shades of purple and pink.

I took this photo in the studio. I found two red pieces of paper to put down. I knew that I wanted to have monochromatic papers and an object with a complimentary background, so I found a blue piece of paper to put down.

I took this photo in the studio. I found two pieces of paper that were light shades of blue to go hand in hand with the blue nail polish. I found a lighter piece of paper to put at the bottom to create the illusion of the nail polish being on the end of a table. I put a black piece of paper down in the background and edited it to be a darker shade of black in the end.

I took this picture against a blue wall, I placed her on top of a chair and then I used the eraser tool to remove the chair. I turned up the brightness of the red on her shoes to compliment them against the bright blue wall.

I took this picture outside the 800 building, I went close up to the plant and zoomed in a bit to get a close clear shot. I then edited it and turned up the brightness and the richness in the green color. I also took of some specs of dust that were on the leaves that looked prominent and took your eye off the main subject.

I took pictures from Peru and San Francisco, my grandpa from my dads side and great grandmother from my moms side are both from Peru, so I took a lot of inspiration from that. I used the national flower of Peru and Mexico, because my great grandmother on my dads side is from Mexico. I used the layering tool a lot to create depth and make it look like you were looking at a journal with ripped pieces of paper, I also played with the opacity of each photo to give it a more vintage feeling.

I took this photo in the studio. When editing it I put a black and white filter over it and then I put a couple of overlays. The first one was a light ray that made it look like the flash had been on. The second one was a rainbow light ray to add a very subtle pop of color.

I took this picture near the 800 building of a lavender plant. I went to the bottom of the planter box and took a photo of it from that angle. When editing it I turned the vibrance of the colors up and then the overall brightness down to show the purple flowers but make it kind of darker.

I took this picture in the upper court towards the office. I used a macro lens in order to capture the color of the lavender that contrasted with the vibrant yellow with the bee. I didn't edit this one.

I took this photo of a bee in the upper court towards the office. I used a macro lens in order to capture the bees wings and vibrant color to contrast against the bright purple flower. I edited this photo in photoshop and turned the vibrance up to make it a bit more colorful but not overly saturated.
