Representing the past: Xinyan Tan‘s work hopes to go back to look for evidence of gaps in our collective memory and discuss the presence of people and their physical traces; Representing the present: Jiali Mai’s work addresses the issue with the married status of women and performed privacy in the public area; Sam Webb’s work utilises digital Imagery as a device to reflect and comment on the impacts of the current ongoing Pandemic, through the visual ‘infection’ of several chosen work’s from his online portfolio; Representing the Future: Qianlin’s work attempts to explore the alternative lifestyles and values outside of the mainstream culture, which serves as a bridge between the present and future; Tianyu's work discusses the possibility of potential future worlds; where in one: humans have utilised technology to prolong their lives, artificially (a demonstration of control) and the other: where technology controls humans.  

The Padlet serves as the home for this journey to depart, and a place to return. The audience constantly faces almost endless choices of the next destination and might get a bit lost in the process. Each individual’s work has its own unique design to make use of online spaces in the most sensible way to exhibit our work, while being aware of the limitation of this media and its nature.
