I am a mother of three children keep me on my toes and their ages are 19,18, and 12. I know what it means to be a ringmaster in a circus with these three. I am also a wife to a husband who is also a teacher. No, we didn’t meet as teachers we both worked at Sears in the hardware department. I teach Autistic Special Education students in a self-contained setting. These kids teach me joy, love, and patience and to celebrate the little successes in every day. I love what I do and even after retirement I can see myself working with Autistic children and adults to make a difference in their life.

I love fishing for catfish. But I usually give the fish away to someone else who can clean and eat it. I just like being out on the water because it is so peaceful and gives me time to think. I also cannot swim. Never learned to swim because I’m scared of the water and probably never will.

My students love it and its entertaining and a learning opportunity for my students. It is also an accomplishment to have students use technology to communicate their wants and needs. My personal use of technology is of course for educational purposes but also for fun. I love social media and keeping up with the news of the day. I rarely post to social media, but I am always aware of what is going on. I like finding new things and keeping up with friends and family.
